This photo was taken on Christmas Day, 2018.  We were blessed to have amazing weather and were able to capture the stunning serenity that Hamilton Greenbelt offers it's visitors.

This unique trail system, in the heart of Old Lakeway is accessible off of Hurst Creek Road and Lohman's Crossing.  It follows Hurst Creek and winds around behind Duck Lake and Clubhouse Drive.

There are several different hiking and biking trails within the trail system and it proves to be quite the hike for those looking to go to the top. It is a wonderful day hike, and something to enjoy year round, here in Lakeway!  For those of us that are runners, this is a trail runners dream come true, since it's mostly shaded.  Also, for those avid mountain bikers, this trail gives you a nice break from difficult rides and quickly turns into something a little more technical for those more experienced.

For more information on this trail and other exciting outdoor activities in Lakeway, please visit the website for Lakeway Parks & Recreation.
